Music Before the Moon Takes the Sun
For centuries, eclipses have held a mythical place in folklore, ritual, and music. To mark this rare and momentous event, Árstíðir will be performing a special eclipse concert in Reykjavík on the night before, August 11th.
Sólmyrkvi is the Icelandic word for solar eclipse, and the concert will take place in our beloved Fríkirkjan, in the heart of Reykjavík. Expect a contemplative evening drawing on ancient Icelandic traditions, as we gather on the threshold between light and darkness. Buy your ticket HERE!
