At the Russian Embassy

We played our first gig of the year at the Russian Embassy in Reykjavík on the Diplomatic Workers Day. The Society for Exchanging Multicultural Events between Iceland and Russia (SEMÍR) arranged the concert. We were well received by the Russian Ambassador, and greeted by representatives from several other countries.

Later this year we will be going back to Russia for the 3rd time, and we’re excited to be reunited once again with our ever growing fan base there.

A night in Fríkirkjan

(foto by The Icelandist)
Our 4th annual Christmas Concert took place on december the 23rd in the beautiful Fríkirkjan Church, situated at the heart of Reykjavík. The old wooden church with it’s beautiful acoustics always brings out the best of us. We simply love playing there.

This year we were joined by the amazing singer/songwriter Lay Low and her confederates Agnes and Pétur. We performed backing vocals for three of her songs, and she joined us on stage for our song ‘Látum okkur sjá’. We are forever grateful to Lay Low for sharing her magic with us.
