Salurinn, we salute you!

Our second release concert took place at the Salurinn music hall. The auditorium is specially designed to be a sonic bliss, and man, did we enjoy playing there.

During the first set we played some of our older songs like Heiðin, Ages, Sunday Morning, You Just Have To Know of Me and Með hallandi höfði. After the break we were joined by three additional string players forming a string quintet together with Hallgrímur and Karl. We performed all the songs from our new album, as well as our famed version of the theme from Megaman (Dr. Wily’s Castle), and received a standing ovation from the audience.

We’d like to thank all of you who attended our release shows and extend a special thanks to our sound engineer Styrmir Hauksson who makes us sound as good as we do!

One Down. One to go.

We spent the weekend in Akureyri where we had our first release concert in the glorious music hall Hof. We wanted to do something extra for our release concert and Hof seemed like the right place.

To promote the show we also performed some smaller acoustic gigs around town, in local schools, and book stores and music stores. One such gig got caught on camera by the Lifandi Norðurland webpage.
