Ragnar Ólafsson Ragnar Ólafsson has been writing, performing and recording music since ‘97, spawning bands in almost every genre possible, ranging from classical music to heavy metal. Over the years he has lived and played in Sweden, Norway and the United States, and worked with musicians like Jens Lekman and Olof Dreijer. Alongside his work with Árstíðir, he continues to nurse his two other acts: heavy rock band Ask the Slave, and progressive rock orchestra In Siren. He also performs on a regular basis with Icelandic metal-giants Momentum.
