Driving at night in the midnight sun

The best part of touring in Iceland during the summer is the incredible midnight sun.

I think my favorite part is driving in the car in the middle of the night, after each show is finished. Everything is usually calm and quiet, and the sky is like a palette with an amazing range of colors.

Last weekend was the midsummer solstice, and it’s strange to think that now the nights will slowly start growing darker again. I sort of wish it could be like this forever.

Having just finished a short tour of north Iceland we are now turning our attention to the European main land. Next stop The Czech Republic

Stuff you must hear

I’d like to bring your attention to the band iamthemorning.

I fell in love with the band when we first played with them in a crowded bar in St. Petersburg in 2010, and since then we’ve toured and collaborated on several occasions.

I knew that their long awaited debut album would be quite something, but I was still completely blown away when I finally heard it this spring.

This year we will be touring Russia together for the third time. And the honor will be all ours.
